PLC programming & safety PLC: control systems your team understands

I program, build the HMI and commission – with Siemens TIA Portal. On site in Burgenland, Vienna, Lower Austria and throughout Austria, or remote.

When nobody knows the program any more

Many machines run on programs that nobody in-house fully understands any more. Comments are missing, the last backup is old, changes are not documented. Every fault takes longer as a result.

With new machines, on the other hand, capacity is often the problem. The mechanics are finished, but the software is behind – and so is commissioning.

What I program for you

  • New control programs

Structured and commented, so that your team can make changes later.

  • Safety programs

Safety functions in Siemens safety controllers, derived from the risk assessment.

  • HMI

Operator screens with WinCC or zenon, clearly organised by operating modes and messages.

  • Commissioning

Signal test, function test and validation of the safety functions on the machine.

  • Backup and documentation

Backup of all controllers and HMI panels, version status and change log.

  • Remote support

Program changes and troubleshooting via remote access through your IT.

Platforms and technology

Controllers
Siemens S7-1500 with F-CPU, S7-1200 and S7-300 with TIA Portal V19 and STEP 7, older S5 systems. Also Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and Codesys V3.
Programming
SCL, GRAPH, FBD and LAD, own libraries, tested in advance with PLCSIM Advanced.
HMI
WinCC Unified, WinCC V8, zenon and Ignition.
Fieldbuses
Profinet with IRT and MRP, Profibus, EtherCAT, IO-Link, AS-i and Modbus.
Drives
SINAMICS S120 and G120, SEW MOVI-C, Danfoss iC7 and Lenze i950, with STO and SLS.
Standards
EN ISO 13849-1 and -2 for safety functions, EN 60204-1 for electrical equipment.

How a project runs

  1. Clarifying requirements

You send the circuit diagram, functional description or specification; we work out anything missing together. An appointment at the machine costs from €890 net, credited if you place the order.

  2. Fixed price and programming

You receive a fixed-price quote. The program is written in the office and tested in advance.

  3. Commissioning

On site I test signals, sequences and safety functions and train your staff.

  4. Handover

You receive the commented program, backup and documentation.

From practice

Section of the S7-GRAPH sequence from my master craftsman project: the step only advances once the fill quantity is reached

Automatic test station for filling valves

My master craftsman project from 2025 runs on a Siemens S7-1500 with ET200SP and an MTP1000 panel. Programmed in TIA Portal V18 with FBD and GRAPH. IO-Link pressure sensors and a magnetic-inductive flowmeter provide the measurements; the test sequence runs automatically and produces a report.

Frequently asked questions

Do you also work remotely?

Yes. Program changes, troubleshooting and commissioning support are possible via remote access if your IT provides secure access. I commission safety functions on site.

Do you own the program afterwards?

You do. You receive the complete program with comments and without locked blocks. That keeps you independent.

Can you take over an existing program?

Yes. I first back up the current state, document the structure and then make targeted changes. That way there is always a state you can return to.

Discuss your PLC project

Send me what you have – circuit diagram, specification or a sketch. You will hear back within one working day.
